A small Marlow firm, and the name on the reviews.
Jericos is, in our own words, “a trusted and reputable small company based in Marlow specialising in plumbing and heating services” — and, being a family-run business, we take pride in a personalised service rather than a call centre and a rota of subcontractors.
What that means in practice is unusually easy to check. Look at the reviews and one name does most of the work: Jerrard. “Jerrard was excellent.” “I would not hesitate to highly recommend this gentleman.” “Both Jerry and Boris are polite, professional and hard working chaps.” Nobody writes that about a booking system — they write it about the person who actually turned up.
The work spans more than boilers. Gas and electric boilers, central heating and controls, hot water cylinders, everyday plumbing, general gas work, air source heat pumps and solar thermal, landlord work, and first and second fix for new builds and renovations — including alongside local builders. One firm for the boiler, the cylinder and the bathroom, which saves a great deal of co-ordinating.
Jericos Heating Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 14093611, and gas work is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. The tagline on the van has been the same from the start, and it is a fair summary of the whole idea: making life easier.

Who turns up
Two names, and they're both in the reviews.
We're not going to pad this page with stock photographs of people who don't work here. These are the only two names customers have ever written down — which is rather the point of a small firm.

Director of Jericos Heating Ltd and the name that keeps appearing in the reviews — "Jerrard was excellent", "this gentleman", "Jerry and Boris". If you ring the number, this is very likely the person who turns up and the person who explains what the job needs.

Gas Safe registered engineer on every gas job
By law, only a Gas Safe registered engineer may work on your boiler, gas appliances or flues. Our gas work is carried out to that standard, and every registered engineer carries a Gas Safe ID card — please do ask to see it when we arrive, and check the back, which lists exactly what that engineer is qualified to work on.

Jericos Heating Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 14093611. You can look the company up on the Companies House register in about ten seconds — a lot of heating "companies" can't be looked up at all.
Manufacturer-trained on the kit we fit
We work day in, day out with the makes you'll find on Buckinghamshire walls — Ideal, Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Intergas and Viessmann — and with Honeywell and Danfoss controls, including Evohome, Nest and vSmart. Training and familiarity, honestly described: we'll tell you which makes we'd put in your house and why.
The way we work
One firm for the boiler, the cylinder and the bathroom
Gas, heating, renewables and domestic plumbing under one roof — which matters more than it sounds. A new bathroom usually means moving pipework and asking more of the hot water; a heat pump changes what the radiators and cylinder need to do. You're not left co-ordinating trades who blame each other.
A free, no-obligation price for your job
There's no price list on this site, because no two houses round here plumb the same way. We look at the job, then quote for that job — and if we find something unexpected, you hear about it before we carry on, not afterwards.
Tidy, explained and tested before we go
Heating work is dusty, wet work. Floors get covered, old kit and packaging leave with us, and the system gets tested and shown working — controls included — before we pack up. It's the bare minimum, and it's still the thing people write reviews about.
Being straight about credentials
We'd rather under-claim than over-claim. Gas work here is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer — ask to see the card on the doorstep and check the back, which lists exactly what that engineer is qualified for. We're manufacturer-trained on the makes we fit, but we won't dress that up as a partner tier or quote you a badge number we can't evidence.
